UUID generator
Create random UUIDs (version 4 and 7) in your browser.
What does this mean?
A UUID is a long, random code that is virtually guaranteed not to occur anywhere else, so you don't need central numbering. Version 4 is completely random. Version 7 starts with the time in milliseconds, which means newer UUIDs end up later in a database; that makes searching and storing faster.
The UUIDs are generated using your browser's secure random generator and are never stored or sent anywhere.
