Console	Emulator	Suitability

What does this mean?

How demanding an emulator is depends on the console. Older consoles (NES, SNES, Game Boy) run on almost anything; for GameCube, Wii, and PlayStation 2 you need a lot more processing power. The rating is an indication: one game runs more smoothly than another, and new versions of emulators keep getting faster.

Games and BIOS files you get from your own collection. See our getting started guide and how to get a BIOS from your own console.
