Network
CIDR overlap
Check if networks overlap. Useful for VLANs and VPNs.
What does this mean?
Two networks overlap if an IP address falls within both. This causes problems with VPNs and VLANs: your computer will not know which side the traffic should go through. A well-known example is a VPN to an office that uses 192.168.1.0/24, just like your home network. Check your plan here before you roll it out.
A line can also be a single address (10.0.0.5, equivalent to /32). Would you rather see the boundaries of a single network? Then use the Subnet calculator. The check happens in your browser.
