systemd service generator

Create the file for a systemd service (and optionally a timer) and get the commands to activate it.

What does this mean?

With systemd you run a program as a service: it starts automatically at boot, restarts on error and writes its messages to the log. Fill in your program; you get the file for /etc/systemd/system/ and the commands to activate it. Optionally turn it into a timer, the modern replacement for cron.

Test a new service first with systemctl start before you link it to startup with enable. More: the systemd cheat sheet and Cron explanation.
